I’ve always had a strong desire to work closely with people, collaborate on solutions to challenging problems, and, most importantly, help achieve a better outcome. At PeakSpan, I get to do just that with our partners. I am thrilled by the opportunity to work alongside such inspiring entrepreneurs and their teams. I feel extremely privileged to be a part of their growth journeys and to be a member of the PeakSpan team.
Mikayla joined PeakSpan in 2023 after interning at the firm the prior summer. Mikayla graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Amherst College with a B.A. in Spanish while also completing pre-med requirements. Prior to PeakSpan, Mikayla interned in a neuroscience research lab at UNC Chapel Hill and at a management consulting firm. At Amherst, Mikayla was a captain of the varsity soccer team and on the NESCAC all-academic and all-sportsmanship teams. Mikayla was part of the Amherst team for the Venture Capital Investment Competition held at Dartmouth College. She also spent a semester abroad at the University of Seville in Spain and has volunteered with hospice and Habitat for Humanity. In her spare time, Mikayla enjoys traveling, trying new sports, and listening to music.
