

Sam joined PeakSpan Capital in March 2026 as the New York Office Manager and Executive Assistant. She supports both the firm’s leadership and the broader office, with a strong focus on precision, exceptional service, and high-impact execution. Originally from Michigan, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. Sam’s background in finance and tech is grounded in a hospitality-first mindset that shapes how she approaches relationships and operational support. She thrives in collaborative environments and is motivated by contributing to a positive, high-performing culture that drives firm-wide success. Outside of the office, Sam is a first-degree black belt in mixed martial arts and an avid collector of classic rock vinyl.

I carry that hospitality-first mindset into everything I do — whether I'm supporting a senior leader, managing the office, or navigating a high-pressure moment — because I believe how you make people feel is just as important as the work itself.
If someone worked closely with me for a year, they would say I lead with empathy, have a keen eye for detail, and a strong ability to anticipate needs before they arise.
