Iveya grew up in New Jersey and earned her degree in Accounting with a minor in Sociology from the University of Connecticut. She previously worked at Ernst & Young, where she developed a strong foundation in financial reporting, controls, and process improvement. Iveya is driven by precision, accountability, and building systems that scale. Outside of work, she values staying active, exploring new places, and trying out new recipes.
At this stage of my career, I’m most energized by solving complex problems that have real downstream impact. I enjoy building scalable processes, improving data quality, and contributing to work that directly supports better investment decisions. The environment at PeakSpan is highly collaborative and intellectually rigorous, which consistently pushes me to raise the bar. I’m especially motivated by ownership, knowing my work materially affects outcomes.
I led the implementation of a scalable bank account confirmation process using Confirmation.com, replacing a manual Zoom-based approach. Coordinated data collection from portfolio companies, built a centralized tracker, and streamlined workflows all reducing meetings, improving data reliability, and strengthening the firm's control environment.
PeakSpan values ownership, rigor, and thoughtful execution, which closely match how I work best. There’s a strong expectation to build clean, reliable processes rather than simply complete tasks. That environment rewards consistency, attention to detail, and accountability. It allows me to contribute meaningfully while continuing to grow.
My experience in public accounting, managing multiple engagements across complex clients and tight timelines, significantly shaped how I operate professionally. It reinforced the importance of discipline, clear communication, and strong prioritization under pressure. That environment built a durable foundation for accountability and execution. Those habits continue to guide how I approach my work today.
