Emmie joined PeakSpan Capital in 2025 after interning at the firm the previous summer. Emmie graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Computer Science and a capstone focus on blockchain technology. Emmie has worked on several software development projects, gaining experience in both back- and front-end coding while also learning the nuances of application design. At the University of Virginia, Emmie worked as a Differential Equations Teaching Assistant in the Applied Math department and was a member of the Society of Women Engineers. In Emmie's free time, she enjoys Pilates, trying new restaurants, and running.

Working on the Nectar T-3 diligence process was an incredibly valuable learning experience. I had the opportunity to collaborate closely with the team to present their financial performance and forecasting, product roadmap, and AI positioning to the PeakSpan team, supporting continued investment in the business.
