PeakSpan Sales Thought Map Series

Matt has been working with growth-stage software and technology businesses his whole career and has had the privilege of working with over 30 growth-stage business software companies over the last 15+ years. Prior to co-founding PeakSpan, Matt worked at Greycroft Partners on the growth-stage investment team. Prior to Greycroft, he worked at Investor Growth Capital on the B2B software investment team, where he met Phil, and they began refining the investment strategy, approach, and philosophy that underpin PeakSpan today. He started his career in investment banking as a member of the Technology, Media, and Telecom group at Piper Jaffray. Matt was named to Crain’s New York Business’ 40 Under 40 List in 2022 and GrowthCap’s Top 40 Under 40 Growth Investors List in 2024 and 2025. Matt graduated cum laude from Georgetown University, where he majored in Finance.

He has been snowboarding all his life and is an avid traveler, journeying to over 30 countries with his wife, Ratavy. But these days, you're more likely to find them on the Upper West Side than on a plane, where they live with their two daughters, Luna and Leyla, and their furry son, Enzo the mini golden retriever, who doubles as the girls’ bodyguard and best friend. Matt grew up just south of Boston and remains a die-hard Boston sports fan despite facing the constant, character-building struggle of living behind enemy lines as a New York City resident.

Andrew is a proud Yinzer (AKA a Pittsburgh native) who joined PeakSpan in 2019 after interning in 2017 and 2018. He studied finance with a minor in biomedical engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, where he played football for four years, was fortunate to be selected as captain, and ran the venture capital club, Scottie Ventures. He is proud to be the older brother to two younger sisters, Taylor and Midson, and his younger brother, Brady. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys playing D&D, reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, and spending time with his beagle, Theo.

‍Charlie joined PeakSpan in 2022 after graduating from Middlebury College, where he studied Political Science and Psychology and played on the football team. Before Middlebury, he played football in the Big Ten for the University of Illinois Fighting Illini. Outside of work, Charlie enjoys all things sports (playing, watching, and talking), and listening to country music.

Mikayla grew up in Chapel Hill, NC. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Amherst College with a B.A. in Spanish while also completing pre-med requirements and captaining the varsity soccer team. Before PeakSpan, she worked at a neuroscience research lab at UNC Chapel Hill and at a management consulting firm.

Mikayla joined PeakSpan in 2023 after interning at the firm the prior summer. She started on the GTM Tech, Payments & Fintech, and Supply Chain Tech investing teams and has since moved to supporting PeakSpan's Strategic Development program, where she works closely with portfolio companies on exit preparedness, strategic positioning, and long-term value creation, in addition to Investor Relations. She currently serves as a board observer for Dispatch and Routefusion. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new sports, and listening to anything but country music.
