Brooks joined PeakSpan in 2025 after interning at the firm the previous summer. Prior to PeakSpan, he interned with the Technology Policy Institute working on AI policy research and cielo24, an early-stage software startup. Brooks graduated from The University of North Carolina (Go Heels!) with a B.A. in Economics and minors in Business Administration and History. At UNC, he was a member of the Venture Capital Club, Undergraduate Financial Society, and Poker Club. In his free time, Brooks enjoys trail running, skiing, live music, and sports of any kind!
