Emmie joined PeakSpan Capital in 2025 after interning at the firm the previous summer. Emmie graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Computer Science and capstone focus on block-chain technology. Emmie has worked on several software development projects, gaining experience in both back and front-end coding while also learning the nuances of application design. At the University of Virginia, Emmie worked as a Differential Equations Teaching Assistant in the Applied Math department, leading office hours for over 400 students and grading important classwork. Additionally, Emmie was a member of the Society of Women Engineers and was a First-Year health and science writer for the Cavalier Daily. In Emmie's free time she enjoys Pilates, trying new restaurants, and swimming.
